The lack of detail that has been provided on crucial aspects of the proposed NHI, its financing, and the State’s ability to manage such a project are among the Helen Suzman Foundation (HSF) concerns covered in a comprehensive four-part review of the National Health Insurance Bill just released.

Based on the Foundation’s November NHI Submission, the review has been written and compiled by HSF legal counselor, Anton van Dalsen, and is presented as follows (click on links to access specific review topics):

·         Part III explores the State’s ability to manage such a project.
