Iconic local hair care brand Jabu Stone has broken barriers again revealing its latest in natural hair care innovation. This year, the brand is proud to bring back the #COILCONVERSATIONS.
The conversation platform is premiering its second installment, aptly coinciding with the recent Africa Day celebrations. On Thursday, 27 May Sir James Van De Merwe in Kramerville played host to natural hair enthusiasts and media from Gauteng.
The beautiful actress and naturalista Sihle Ndaba, as the MC, facilitated the informative and entertaining panel discussion all around the brands newest product innovation.
The aim of the #COILCONVERSATIONS event is to discuss, African hair and provide inputs and share knowledge and experience- as opposed to dictating one view or another. This year the event panelists were comprised of various natural and homeopath enthusiasts all boasting a pan African approach to grooming and wellness.
They were: Jabu Stone- Founder and Visionary, Tiffany Lekuku- Beauty and CBD enthusiast, Thobeka Mthembu- content creator, and Lerato Sengadi- holistic health enthusiast.
The morning was filled with personal insights and contributions, knowledge, and opinions around the topic of natural hair care, cannabis- myths and misconceptions, benefits, and so on.
“Jabu Stone is a brand with a strong heritage in the African consciousness movement, and for two decades has advocated for the ownership and celebration of African hair and how to maintain it at it’s best state.
“It was only fitting for us, in Africa month and just having celebrated Africa day, to bring back this platform with our close community of like-minded individuals. It’s an honour to be able to witness unapologetic African tresses in one place,” commented Jabu Stone Brand Manager Tumiso Mathebula.
