Jacqui Reed is Retail Brief Africa’s newest contributor, offering employment law insights.She is an attorney and the founder of Reed Law Inc, a dynamic law firm specialising in corporate employment law and immigration law.
Before establishing her own practice in 2017, Jacqui graduated from WITS School of Law and was employed at leading corporate law firms Webber Wentzel, Norton Rose and ENS Africa. Jacqui also qualified as an advocate and served as a member of the Johannesburg Bar for four years.
As a sought-after legal professional in the employment law space, Jacqui is well-known for providing advice in relation to complex issues, such as employment contracts, unfair labour practice and unfair dismissal claims, due diligences and section 197 transfers in corporate / commercial transactions, workplace rights and obligations, restraints of trade and immigration requirements.
