As the popularity of dairy-fruit brands rises in the South African market, brands are being compelled to bring something different to the table. Duo takes this concept up a notch and offers a much more natural version of a dairy-fruit blend, fortified with five vitamins and containing 50% less sugar than Danao.
In order to communicate all of the health benefits, as well as provide an explanation of the unique product composition on pack, the Just Design team underwent a process of conceptualisation, defining the brand to its core essence and understanding it in its entirety.
This resulted in the design team creating a pour that changes from dairy to fruit juice and nestles all the fruity goodness in the pooling at the bottom of the pack. The new design visually depicts exactly what it is – the goodness of dairy meets the goodness of fruit. Through the use of bold type, differentiated colour pallets for each variant, Just Design was able to create a pack that is visually exciting and full of brand personality.
