South Africa’s leading health and beauty retailer has scooped the title of Coolest Specialist Health, Beauty and Accessory store in the 2020 Sunday Times Gen Next Awards.
“We feel incredibly honoured to have been chosen as the coolest health and beauty store in South Africa and extend our heartfelt thanks to our Clicks community for their ongoing support,” says Clicks Group CEO Vikesh Ramsunder. “We’ve stayed true to our brand pillars of You Pay Less and continue to focus on providing customers with exceptional value, convenience and rewards, which are especially relevant in these tough economic times.”
He says: “ClubCard, South Africa’s most used loyalty programme, continues to put cash back in the customer’s pocket, whilst our regular promotions, great customer service and our wide range of affordable private label and exclusive brands, along with our increased online and digital offering through the Clicks app, make this a winning formula.”
ClubCard has also extended its affinity partnerships in the past year, with the addition of Engen as its exclusive fuel partner in December 2019, and the first ‘loyalty-within-loyalty’ benefit with E-Bucks in April this year – which has all added to the brand’s longevity and appeal.
The Sunday Times Gen Next survey, conducted by HDI Youth Consultancy, is considered the leading barometer of what South Africa’s youth find on-trend. The survey tracks consumer behaviour and preferences of South Africans aged 8 to 23 and young professionals aged 25 to 30 years.
